Aroona Irani has been working in films from last 50 years, she is acknowledged as one of the best actresses of the industry and has earned immense respect and goodwill from everyone from her talent and professionalism.

Ms Irani is an theatre artiste, and has produced several successful Gujarati plays.

As a film actress she has worked with all the best directors in the filmIndustry in more than 500 films.

Apart from acting Ms Irani has produced and directed 6 gujarati films of which five celebrated silver jubilees & the sixth one celebrated 100 days all these films won awards from gujarat state govt.

In 1998 she established A.K.International, a film production company in partnership with Mr Kuku Kohli and produced a film ''Anari No 1'' starring govinda, raveena tandon, simram, Johnny lever kader khan and herself, the film was a great success worldwide.

After this she produced a second film titled ''Yeh Dil Aashiqana'' This film had newcomers star & was released on January 2002, by 12th july 2002 the film completed its 25th week and celebrated its glorious silver jubilee.

Ms Irani has directed a serial ''Mehendi Tere Naam Ki'' which was produced by K.K. FILMS and was telecasted on zee tv, it was top ranking programme on the channel and was rated as one of the best serial of the country, the serial was nominated for the best director for screen awards.

Then she formed a new company in the name of ''A.K.FILMS PVT LTD''After this she made very popular serial for star tv ''Des Main Nikla Hoga Chand'' which was shot in London, uk, chandigard & dubai the serial has won several awards, the best serial award of the year by RAPA, best serial of the week, Best director, best music director, and best child artiste awards.

She make several serial ( ''Tum Bin Jaaoon Kaha'' ''Zameen Se Aasman Tak'' ''Rabba Ishq Na Hove'' ''Vaidehi'' ) for popular channel and has taken several awards.

At present she is producing two popular serial for two most popular channel ''Naaginn'' the most popular and wanted serial for zee tv and a daily soap for sahara-one ''Doli Saaja Key''.
